My journey has single-handedly been the most challenging but rewarding experience of my life, it gave me a passion for healthy food and lifestyle. Today I am completely free of all health issues, feel better than I ever have, and am truly inspired to share my knowledge to help others achieve a healthier lifestyle.

My journey started in 2014 when I was diagnosed with Celiac’s Disease which is a serious genetic autoimmune disorder whereby the ingestion of gluten leads to damage in the small intestine. After cutting out all gluten I still had a host of health issues including daily headaches, nausea, chronic chest, respiratory infections and nasal drip. And to top it off, I had almost no voice for over a year.

I was told that my body had become intolerant of certain foods, and that started a long, arduous process of trying to ascertain what foods my body was reacting to. I went through intense elimination diets and blood tests, which still produced no firm results. I went to 7 doctors and specialists which also delivered no clear answers.

I felt very alienated trying to figure out what was wrong with me and obsessing about every item of food that passed my lips. So I started reading and learning everything I could about diet, foods and lifestyle. Along with all my own research I also completed a diploma in nutrition with distinctions.

Due to my diet restrictions I now had to read every food label on all foods.  I found that so many “health” foods are full of additives and sugars which is why I now focus only on natural ingredients and organic shops I know and trust.
